DR mostly does manipulation by presenting half-truth, twisting facts and cherry picking.
Here are some exposes on him:
The first and foremost lie about him is that he claims to be neutral. He hates Modi and BJP and has unconditional love for Arvind Kejriwal and AAP. He criticizes only and only Modi and BJP and never Kejriwal. He always praises Kejriwal & AAP. Has never criticized Kejriwal. Has asked people to donate to AAP and vote AAP. Not only this he also avoids criticizing Congress and covers up for them. How come he be neutral?
He twists facts, presents half-truths:
In his video on road construction, he purposely compared 2015–16 rate of 16km/day with Congress’s 11km/day of 2013 to suggest BJP didn’t improve much. While he made the video in 2017 when the latest data of 22km/day in 2017 was available that was double of Congrees’s 2012.
He presented 2012 data about 55 million families going into poverty due to health treatment as 2017’s data (You know why).
In Aug 2017, he claimed Modi and Jaitley were lying on the pretext that both quoted different numbers for increase in tax payers after demonitization. He purposely trimmed videos to hide details that Jaitley's statement was of April,2017 based on figures till Mar 2017 while Modi's statement was of 15th August where he clearly mentioned that figures are of April to August 2017.
He said ‘Ease of Doing Business’ ranking does not matter as it’s based on Mumbai and Delhi while ignoring that it measures the convenience and experience of companies of Mumbai & Delhi in operating in whole India. And rules and parameters considered are applicable in whole India.
He claims Modi promised 1 crore jobs while hiding the fact that in his speech he was mentioning Congress’s 2009 promise which was not fulfilled and was not making his own promise.
He falsely reported that BJP was the biggest advertiser on TV in Week 46. While the truth was it was the most advertised brand (that too for just a week) and the biggest advertiser was HUL which is a conglomerate with dozens of individual brands. BJP was not even in top 10 advertisers in that week.
He alleged that Modi uses the costly pen while Kejriwal and Manmohan Singh uses a cheaper pen. What he ignored was that Modi’s pen was gifted by UAE prince and was much cheaper than his imaginary price. Manmohan Singh too used to sign documents with an expensive pen. And he ignored iPhone in Kejriwal’s hand
He bad mouthed India in his video on a survey claiming India to be unsafest for women ahead of Syria, Afganistan etc based on sample size of 40 people with only 4 women from India. At the same time, he had rejected a survey saying that Bollywood is “Hinduphobic” on basis that it considered only 50 films per decade.
He is illogical: His absurd argument was that Sardar Patel’s statue’s face is not good so it will not be a tourist attraction. He said the statue will take more than 125 years to recover cost when it has earned 2.1 crores in just 10 days. He compared the cost of “The Spring Buddha” made in the 1990s with “Sardar's Statue” saying it was too costly. He ignored inflation, height, more materials used in Sardar’s statue and the fact that only 1600 crores were for the statue and rest was for museum, park, bridges, and roads around it.[5]
He spreads the fake news:
He spread the fake news that Tripura CM’s speech was blocked by All India Radio. It turned out to be fake. [
He spread the fake news that Army’s uniform allowance has been scrapped and now armymen will have to buy uniform out of own money. The truth was now allowance will be paid as one-time payment in bank A/c.
He spread the word that BJP states have not announced any relief for Kerala floods when many BJP states had already announced help
He spread the fake news that 20 lakhs were spent on the Modi’s fitness video. The truth was it was cost was zero as PMO videographer recorded it. There are many. And he never apologizes. [8]
He spread fake news that Atal ji called Indira a ‘Durga’. Atal ji had denied it in AAP ki Adalat saying it was media which attributed it to him and when, at that time, he said, “No, I didn’t say.’ but media said, “Yes! you said.” When people called him out for this, he quietly edited his Facebook post without accepting it.
He is intolerant: He issues threats to YouTubers who criticizes him. He has a Facebook group “Dhruv Rathee Squad” where members share links of Facebook pages, posts, tweeter accounts, Quora accounts and answers which are critical of Dhruv Rathee or Kejriwal, praising Modi or different from his ideology and members are directed to mass report, downvote and dislike. My previous answer on him was collapsed within 1 hour. Yes, 1 hour. [My this answer had survived 2 weeks.] He brands anyone exposing his fallacies a Sanghi, Bhakt or BJP IT Cell member. He blocks people on twitter who question him.
He is biased: He will find reasons to praise Kejriwal and criticize Modi. he calls ‘The Wire’ and 'NDTV' a neutral and authentic news portal. Any sane person knows that The Wire’s only objective is to criticize Modi and has been found spreading the fake news on various occasions. While I don't need to tell about 'NDTV'. He attributes Signature Bridge started in 2006 completed in 2018 to Kejriwal but does not give credit to Modi for all the projects which were stalled for years and Modi completed them on war footing like Bhupen Hajarika Bridge, Eastern & Western Peripheral Expressway etc.
He is a sadist and spreads negativity: In most of his videos, his only job is presenting a negative picture of India’s situation to criticize Modi. His videos spread negativity only except when it comes to Kejriwal. He finds fault in even the achievements of the government trying to demean it with absurd reasons.
